Thanks for taking some time out to read my blog!
There are a few important points I would like to make before people decide if they would like to sponsor me for Children with Cancer UK.
The first is that every penny raised will go to Children with Cancer UK. Everything I have taken on this year will be paid for by myself and not a penny sponsored will go towards funding any of the entry fees, travel costs, equipment… etc etc.
And secondly, if anyone is interested in joining me to help raise money for Children with Cancer UK, please let me know. Events such as the Great North Run and 3 Peaks Challenge are available to do as organised events with charities. They are great ways to raise money for great causes and to enjoy a new adventure/challenge along the way as well as keeping in shape and meeting new people!
My target is now £6000 an amount that would not be possible without the help of my friends, family and employers RVL Group. To hit £6000 would be amazing and i’m confident that this can be exceeded by the end of the year! An amount like that could really make a difference!
There are several ways you can donate:
1) Through my justgiving page, a link of which is on the front page of my blog and available here: http://www.justgiving.com/smithschallenge2012
2) You can also donate via text by texting SMIT50 and the amount you would like to sponsor TO 70070. For example,
SMIT50 £5. Be sure to include the £ sign in front of the amount.
3) If you would prefer to sponsor me once I have completed the challenges, in person, let me know when you see me next and I will add you name to the list!
4) Sharing my blog through your own facebook page can make a huge difference in the amount of sponsorship raised too, it opens up a whole new world of people!! Please do by copying and pasting https://smithschallenge2012.wordpress.com into your status update and spead the word!
Thanks again. Children with Cancer UK do such amazing work as it is. Please be part of that by contributing even just £2 and I will do my best not to pass out on any of the challenges! http://www.childrenwithcancer.org.uk/
